Remember When Halliburton was a Dirty Word? Obama Admin Gives No-

Bid Contract to Halliburton

The joke's on you, America

It wasn’t all that long ago when someone with left leaning tendencies would spit out the word “Halliburton” at any mention of President George W. Bush. It became an epithet. HALLIBURTON! That was it, all conversation regarding politics was supposed to come to a halt at the utterance of the word — for some strange reason it was the left’s creepy trump card.

Fast forward to 2010. The One is in office. Mr. HopeandChange. So, what has Captain Kool Aid done about Halliburton? Why, he’s given them a no-bid contract, of course.

Bloomberg Businessweek: KBR Inc. [aka Halliburton] was selected for a no-bid contract worth as much as $568 million through 2011 for military support services in Iraq, the Army said. The Army announced its decision yesterday only hours after the Justice Department said it will pursue a lawsuit accusing the Houston-based company of taking kickbacks from two subcontractors on lraq-related work. The Army also awarded the work to KBR over objections from members of Congress, who have pushed the Pentagon to seek bids for further logistics contracts.

Is Dick Cheney secretly still in government? Or, is Halliburton one of the few contractors who can get the job done? Either Halliburton is the son of Satan, or the left was wrong in demonizing them in the first place. They can’t have it both ways. Either they were right, and Halliburton is evil incarnate and The One — their one - is supporting such evil; or they were wrong in the first place and should just shut up.

Either way, they really should shut up.

Earlier today | sent both my Senators and my Congressman this email (adjusted for my Congressman): Honorable Senator :

KBR contracts of the past have shown shoddy service to our troops in Iraq.

Now we have a no-bid contract awarded to KBR even though KBR is being sued by our Justice Dept.

Senator, this is the reason Americans do not trust decision-makers in Washington.

Please do all you can with all you have to stop this newly-announced KBR contract...... no matter whose back it scratches.

Where were all of you clowns over the past ten years? You didn’t see a problem with Halliburton when they were stealing billions from us years ago but suddenly now it’s Obama’s fault. This is the President of the United States you are talking abou there. Have some goddam respect. You people should all go to Somalia where people like you are appreciated and all you dream of in a government and society is in place. The conservative who complained that we still have troops in Iraq made me almost puke. I'll bet he/she was cheering when we were blowing up daycare centers in Baghdad in the early stages of that war. Now, with almost zero US casualties, it’s the Obama administration that is at fault. I’ll buy your ticket to Somalia. Anyone of you hpyocricital pigs.

Corruption isn’t left or tight liberal or conservative..it doesnt have a color, and doesnt dress up for Halloween, it doesnt care whther you're gay or straight, whether you live in the North, the South, or West, or whether you are well or sick or black or white, Asian, Hispanic or Caucasian. It is rooted in the love and desire for money and will do anything to get it.
